Additionally Sony's "Eye-start" system always ensures the camera is ready to start shooting without wasting precious battery life. As the camera's Super SteadyShot is body mounted, both Sony Alpha and Minolta Dynax lenses can be used whilst still benefitting from image stabilisation.
