This DG Series lens is compatible with both digital SLR cameras and those with full 35mm frame area. Its optical stabiliser and rear focusing systems make it a more manageable lens for one of such large focal length.

Optical Stabiliser
Using Sigma's own OS technology, the image stabilisation gives a useful extra four stops in exposure allowing for smaller apertures to be set giving better depth of field and extended low light capability.

Optical Features
This lens uses Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements. These minimise chromatic aberrations in addition to the rear focusing system that also reduces aberrations from focusing. The Super multi-layer coating is also effective in reducing flare and ghosting effects.

Hyper Sonic Motor
Ensures fast and quiet focusing with full-time manual focus override. Focuses down to 150cm as well for 1:4.2 closeups.

Compatibility
Can be used with both the 1.4x EX DG APO and 2x EX DG APO teleconverters.
