This website is owned and operated by Camera Jungle Ltd. We specialise in buying and selling used photographic equipment in the UK. Camera Jungle is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to every customer, whether you are buying or selling. We are the same team that launched the company back in 2012 and we are committed to continually improving our service to you.

Placing an order

Placing an order with Camera Jungle is quick, easy and takes less than 3 minutes. You can immediately start browsing the website now, without any need to fill in your personal details until you make a purchase. When browsing you'll notice the condition rating next to the camera or lens, which explains whether the item is used or new. Each used item given a Mint, Excellent, Good or Well Used rating whereas the New items will display New next to it. For more information check our ratings guide and why you should buy from us.

After you've made your purchase you will be sent an e-mail to confirm that your order has been received and a further e-mail advising delivery time with a tracking number. The delivery will need to be signed for, and is insured until then. If the item develops a fault please see our returns page for details on how to return it.

Creating an account

A Camera Jungle account takes minutes to set up, and allows you to receive instant payments for any items you sell to us. Within your Camera Jungle account you can browse through your purchases, sales and any balance you have remaining to spend at Camera Jungle. Your trade-in bonus will appear on this page as well. You don't need to sign up for a Camera Jungle account until you sell something to us, but it's free and simple to do.

Selling to us

Selling to us is as easy as 1-2-3. First search for your camera, accept the instant quote and then send it to us. We will pay by BACS. For more information on trading an item in, see more details on our sell to us page.

As part of our Drone trade-in process, we must perform a test(s) flight. When you send your Drone to be traded-in, you acknowledge that while every precaution has been taken, Camera Jungle will accept no liability for any faults, loss, damage or incidents that occur during testing and inspection.

Delivery and charges


Any camera, lens or accessory you order before 8pm will be dispatched for next working-day delivery, as long as all banking checks have been passed. If the item is ordered after 8pm, at the weekend or during a national holiday, it will be sent on the next available working day. All deliveries are insured until you sign for it. Please be aware that deliveries to remote areas can take longer. For further information check our delivery information page.

Delivery charge

The delivery charge to most UK addresses is £4.99, although some more remote areas can be more expensive. This covers the insurance and secure delivery of your equipment. Check our delivery information page for more information.


As long as a used camera, lens or accessory is in the same condition as when it was received it can be returned within 14 days. Unopened new items can be returned within 14 days. In your welcome pack, which is included in the box with your camera, lens or accessory, is a returns form which needs to be included with any returned items.

Returns Checklist

  1. Contact us on hello@camerajungle.co.uk to let us know you're returning an item within 14 days of receiving it
  2. Fill in the returns form we email you, including the CJ number.
  3. Put the form inside the box with the item you are returning and attach the delivery address section to the outside of the box
  4. In the majority of situations we will organise a collection, but in the event that you have to return the package yourself please use a secure delivery service that needs a signature upon receipt

If your new or used camera, lens or accessory develops a manufacturer's fault within the first 12 months we will collect the item from you, and arrange to have it repaired or exchanged. Please contact us when the fault develops on hello@camerajungle.co.uk so we can advise you how to proceed further.

Changes to these terms

Camera Jungle reserves the right to make alterations to terms and conditions without prior notice.
